#374 - Tomodachi Diversity

After the release of Tomodachi Life, various users complained about the game not allowing same-sex relationships. Nintendo apologized, and said that "next games would probably allow this". In Miitopia, released three years later, they fulfilled their promise. Though Miitopia doesn't explicitly mention romantic relationships, it hints at that when two Miis have high or max levels of what the game calls "friendship", by changing the Mii's behavior and referring the couple as "soulmates". Tomodachi Life was not like that with same-sex Miis.
