MIDI Maze is an Atari ST game that allowed 16 computers to be connected for multiplayer gameplay. It was released on the Game Boy as Faceball 2000, where the 16-player mode is still present, but the cable that made it possible was never released. Even if you had enough Link cables and 4-player adapters, it wouldn't be possible to play the 16-player mode. Its code is still in the game, so it would be possible to fabricate a replica of the unreleased cable. If successful, we'd get 16-player local multiplayer on a Game Boy.
