All levels in Yoshi's Island contain 20 hidden red coins. However, the stage "More Monkey Madness" actually contains a 21st red coin, hidden under a peg. Getting to the goal with all 21 red coins collected will still count as a regular 100% completion. This coin isn't in the GBA remake of the game, so that's why this very specific coin is considered to be the extra one.
