#817 - Bulky Retrocompatibility

Nintendo originally wanted the SNES to be backwards compatible with the NES, but this would've made the SNES much more expensive so the idea was rejected. A bulky device titled the Famicom Adaptor (pictured) was also considered, but never developed.
